As summer's gentle warmth settles over Frankfurt am Main, we invite you to step into a world where ancient tradition meets contemporary artistry. Xiaoshu—the arrival of lesser heat—marks a threshold between seasons, and we celebrate this moment with you.
Journey with us into the refined and contemplative world of contemporary Chinese tea culture, a practice still largely undiscovered across Europe. Yuan Ming and Stephan von der Schulenburg will guide you through the philosophy and beauty of this living tradition, unveiling its secrets and significance.
But this is more than an introduction—it is an invitation to experience. You will have the rare opportunity to participate in an intimate tea ceremony, gracefully led by Qiao Hong, a master of her craft who travels specially from Chengdu in Southwest China to share this moment with you. In her hands, each gesture becomes poetry; each cup, a conversation.
Discover the delicate notes of white peony, the honeyed complexity of orchid oolong, and the golden whisper of needle tea. Let the ritual unfold around you as summer's warmth embraces the evening.
